MAUI RESTAURANTS
Excellent restaurants are nearby -
1.) Roy's Kahana and Roy's Kihei - Best quality and value, Asian/American cuisine. Great preparation of local fish such as opacapaca, opah, moonfigh, ahi, ono etc. Be sure to try the chocolate soufflé for desert (order it during the main course). Excellent wine list with fair restaurant prices. One of the few places to find Sine-Qua-Non syrah. Located just down the Piilani Hiway north, next to Safeway. 10 minutes.
2.) Nicks. Next door at Fairmont Kea Lani. Excellent service and food. More expensive. Same owner (Aaron) has Sorento's. Also excellent service and food, and with the best beach front location on Maui. Located 5 minutes away om South Kihei Rd on Keawakapu Beach. Don't miss: Maui Wowie Salad, and Ahi Mignon.
3.) SeaWatch. 2 minutes away at the Wailea Gold and Emerald Golf courses. Quality food. Chocolate martinis.
4.) Joe's. Located at the Wailea Tennis Club. Great food and wine list. Try a martini. Try the macadamia nut encrusted mongchong.
5.) Outrigger Luau. 5 minutes away at the Outrigger Resort. Walking distance, great fire dancer, and yes it is all you can drink.
6.) Tommy Bahamas. At the Shops of Wailea, 3 minutes, Wailea Alanui north. Fun, tropical atmosphere, entertainment. Try the coconut shrimp, Big Island goat cheese, bisque.
7.) Longi's. Also at the Shops of Wailea. Try the fish of the day with the grape sauce.
8.) Spago's. At the Four Season's, just on the other side of Wailea Point. Quality restaurant.
9.) Prince's Court. Maui Prince Hotel - 5 minutes south.
10.) Capiche - Diamond Resort. Nearby
11.) Ferraro's - Four Seasons - easy walk.
12.) Sorento's - Keawakapu Beach - One of the few beach front, sunset restaurants, high quality.
On the more affordably priced end:
1.) Bada Bings, Kihei
2.) Denny's, Kihei
3.) Alexanders, Kihei (lunch, fish and chips)
4.) Mulligans, at the Wailea Blue course. Entertainment too. (Great spinach salad, fish and chips, fresh fish, breakfast.)

For kids: McDonalds, Taco Bell, Panda Express - all in Kihei. The Fairmont Kea Lani is a 1 minute walk with shops and resaurants. Cafe Ciao
Further along the beach path are more shops and restaurants at The Four Seasons Resort, The Grand Wailea Resort, and The Outrigger Resort. Across the street is the Wailea Blue Golf course with pro shop and restaurant. All within walking distance or a 5 minute drive. Many coffee houses with great local beans.
